The Story
Community circles are safe spaces where students can share, build trust, and gain a sense of belonging within the classroom community. School counselors can use restorative practices and community circles to have their students self-reflect and share about gratitude during the Thanksgiving season!
Benefits of a community circle: Students will build connections, understanding, belonging, and trust while they listen to their peers. Students will also feel a sense of empowerment and ownership when they respond to the prompt.
